The Hawker 600A, also known as the model BAe 125-600A, is a twin-engine midsized corporate jet produced by the British Aircraft Corporation, later Raytheon, and today Hawker Beechcraft. The Hawker 600A is a variant of the British Aerospace’s highly successful DH/HS/BAE-125 family. Introduced in 1971, the Hawker 600A was a modified version of the Hawker 400, featuring a fuselage stretch of 3 ft 1 in (0.94 m), the new 3,750-pound Rolls Royce Viper 601-22 turbojet engines, a 25,000-pound takeoff weight, lengthened vertical tail and ventral fin and a fuel tank in the extended dorsal fin. The Hawker 600A typically seats six to eight passengers comfortably, though some versions are capable of carrying up to 14 passengers in a high density configuration.
